I think its $15 shipping for the router and its just a rental now FYI

It's not a rental

They keep ownership and want it returned if leave 2Degrees.

I asked how that works when I was joining, and got answer they send out a free carrier bag to send it back in if/when leaving.

Edit: Not sure if word free was mentioned, I may have just made that assumption from the conversation about year ago.

But do they still provide a router? I can't find this info in their site. They just mentioned modem.

Faust09th, with Fibre in NZ, you never buy a modem seperately. The modem is the ONT which is installed permanently in your house along with your fibre installation. It is owned by your Local Fibre Company (Chorus, Ultrafast, Northpower or Enable), and your ISP (2degrees) has nothing to do with it. Only the router is supplied by your ISP.




Just to be clear, the ONT (modem) is something you don't have to worry about one bit. It's installed by professionals and remotely managed.
