Linux:
elisammgarcia: I’ve spoken to chorus too many times

What did they say? Speak to ISP

Who is ISP

And they have just told me they are trying to fix , but 4 months later

Still just

the problem is clearly with the Chorus network, The problem is with the feeder cable going into the new ISAM in the Pukehina C cabinet. Seems they can't push through enough data.

Linux: @hio77 That will explain the good sync rate with crap speed if that is the case!

yeah, but the report listing a single E1 and VDSL just doesnt line up, so I'm not sure it's telling the full story.. Maybe it's a few E1s.. that wouldn't align with the user experience though.

Can having E1 signal cause a lot of problems ? Not sure if I have it. Would it effect the speeds on the chorus system (17mbsp) download

Yes for sure as not enough capacity on the back haul Conklin cabinets generally have 4 E1's so max 8Mbp/s for all users

@elisammgarcia Wait for @ChorusNZ to respond at the moment but it's not looking good for you and if this is the case then nothing the ISP's can do

It's a ISAM not a Conklin or ASAM.

Used to know of a fair few conklins that were lucky to have 2 E1s!
