I'm happy with my 100/100 from BP.

I honestly don't need anything better at this stage.

If I had a proper server (not just a re-purposed desktop) doing my hosting etc, then maybe I'd look at a gig connection... but don't see that happening until i win Lotto :D

@NickMack:

Sorry wrong department for me - I can however state that the network is in an excellent place to support faster speeds on the back of our RWC2019 upgrades/preparation/investment (hardware upgrades, backhaul/capacity, handovers) last year - This year we have been continuing the replacing of hardware (faster/higher spec'd kit) in our regional areas this year as well as adding more expansion capabilities with these faster speeds in mind :-).

And that right there is just one more reason I have stuck with 2Degrees (/Snap) for so long; proactive network improvements and actual forethought into future requirements!

I too am now completely unmoved by any other provider's attempts to poach me!  Not for any price or any number of new TVs or fridges :)

Keep up the great work guys!

So Nick, is there anyone on your side who can advise about 2Degrees potential future HyperFibre plans?

I'll ask, however it's not my place to announce... ;-)

PS: I have the team working on replacing our tired (and hammered) Speedtest servers, so these should be rolled out very soon. We have the hardware racked up, just some design work and patching to be done really....

Gamer

MyRepublic Gamer includes a Gamer Static IP address. This IP optimises routing to popular Game servers on the MyRepublic network when available

MyRepublic Gamer includes Gamer Support. this is via discord by the sounds of it.

Minimum monthly charge: $10

so it just sounds like a static IP address.

Marketing would be my guess.

Hyperfibre now available in Palmy... just not from 2 Degrees.
