Hi

I joined SNAP last week and I am really happy with the connection however I have noticed that my usage is quite high and I dont think that I have actually downloaded that much.

Do they count uploads as well towards usage/quota? or do you think that their usage meter is screwed up and is actually measuring more than you actually use?

Incidentally a mate of mine who is also with SNAP has the same observation so its not like an isolated incident.

I would be interested in your feedback.

Nearly all ISPs count uploads and downloads to your quota.

Snaps usage meter is very accurate. I only download off RapidShare and the Rapidshare logs match the usage meter.

All good here.

Cheers

I'm also with Snap but don't seem to be having issues with the usage meter.  Have you tried calling their helpdesk?

+1

I have been with Snap for almost 5 months now and we've never had any problems with the Usage Meter during that time.  It doesn't look quite so flash as the Xnet meter with the graph, but total usage listed by day is good enough for most purposes.  My experience of Snap has been all good so far Cool

Great thanks for the feedback, it must be uploads that are adding to the usage which I must admit had ommited from my calculations as I just checked the size of the data downloaded.

all good then, I will let me mate who is also with SNAP know this as well :)
