I tried to change my 2Degrees number to something I can remember and thought why not try my VF phone number (with 022 instead of course). The online tool said it was't available. My 029 number is 029828****

Then tried my home number (977****) and that didn't work either.

I can't believe those numbers are already allocated so has 2D not opened up the entire number range yet?

Anybody with any ideas on this?

Thanks

No 2d hasn't opened up the full range of numbers as of yet.

I guess I will wait then. This is only for a spare phone to be kept in the car anyway.

Do not keep a phone in the car, unless you always park in a cool place. Search You Tube, there are many videos of phone batteries spewing flames. There is only one rechargeable battery that is safe, and it is the very latest LiFePO4 which I have seen only in power tools so far (check out www.killacycle.com).

You can start a serious fire if you charge batteries in a hot car. Just keeping it in a hot car (not charging) only kills the battery, but in some cases might also start a fire.

Fortunately my VF number was 0210... so I could get my 0220... number.

You can never have enough Volvos!
