I have noticed lately that my upstream connection shocking.
Tonight I decided to investigate further and found that my ADSL modem is making an upstream connection at 139 Kbps. My downstream is at 2813Kbps.
What would be normal?
In am in Burwood, Christchurch, and I am sure I used to get a better upstream than this.
I have tried disconnection the other devices (1 cordless phone with filter and 1 wired phone with filter), then rebooting the modem.
I have tried another modem.
I swapped the phone line cable out.
The only thing I have not done is bypassed the house alarm, which required re-wiring it, but the alarm system has been here for over a year and my speeds dropped only with the last month or so.
Where do I go from here?
Is it worth contacting snap tech support, can they do anything, like get a line test done or get telecom to investigate?
