I have an Android device to test here, so I decided to use my 2degrees SIM card for this... Added $20 to that account on the 28 Apri, and when reading my email I found out there was a $10 bonus for topups until the 30th April...

But I haven't received it yet. Anyone else received it?

Yes. Did you try contacting 2degrees?

I sent them my number earlier today... Let's see how it goes.

This was a manual process I think, so maybe they didn't get around to updating it yet or your number slipped through the cracks. It did say "within three days" (Thursday, Friday, Monday?).

Thanks Mauricio, We’re just finishing the validation of all customers who were entitled to the offer and topped-up during the promo period. That’s essentially been finished, with all remaining credits put into customer’s accounts today. Cheers!

What about people who topped up by more than $20 in the time period?

My wife's auto topup is set to $30, she topped up on 19th April and she didn't/hasn't received anything extra

Not everyone was part of this promotion, it was sent out randomly I think.  Did she receive a text/email about it?

No idea, seems a bit odd to have a "random" promotion as if some get it and others don't then people will question it if they find out (like me)

Question what? It's no different to many other targeted promotions companies run. Maybe it was sent to people that haven't topped up lately to encourage them to get back into 2degrees?

True, if it indeed was a targeted campaign then fair enough. Only asked the question on the presumption it was for all 2D customers

Anyone know the answer, was this a targetted campaign and would it only apply to $20 top ups?

I told you already, not everybody was part of this promotion!

OK ok, calm down.

What you said was "Not everyone was part of this promotion, it was sent out randomly I think" and by "I think" I took that to mean you weren't sure.

Are you from 2Degrees as it's not clear from your post?

That's weird, because I thought I wrote an earlier post saying I didn't work for 2degrees and the info I had was just what I had gathered but clearly not. So, no, I'm not from 2 degrees.

I guess I should've written "Not everyone was part of this promotion. It was sent out randomly, I think." It was definitely only sent out to some people, but whether it was random or targetted I don't know, and that's probably not that important.

Maybe next time your wife will be on the lucky list, and if so I would guess a $30 topup would be OK. The email says $20 but the implication is at least $20 I think. Still, moot point, right?

It could have been a selected promotion - I had this SIM card which I received from 2degrees at launch, with $20. Never loaded any more credits and used for data only while testing some devices.

It was probably luck that I got a new Android to test and I decided to recharge that account on the same day I received the promotional email.

Pretty much same here.  I hadn't topped up since I got it, so that's what made me think maybe that was the case.
