I am curious as to whether 2degrees is planning or investigating something along the lines of Telecom's mTopup or Vodafone's HotLink where you can top up your mobile directly from your bank account (similar to an EFT POS transaction) with an SMS message?

This would be great if they do even though their current top up options are perfectly fine; for some reason I always prefer to pay directly from my bank funds rather than from a credit card and purchasing top up vouchers is often inconvenient.

We have the Auto Top Up feature where you can automatically get topped up without ever having to worry about running out of credit again.
You can set this up with a credit or debit card and you nominate the amount that you want to add to your account. Check out the detail here: http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/auto-top-up

Cheers!
