Actually I might debate that figure with you. Do product/network launches usually take place on a Friday? I'm not a marketeer so I don't know, but I would guess its either less than a fair share, or more...

512MB + E1552 = $99
10GB (yes, gigabytes) + E1552 = $199

Looks like you will get much better 3G data deal if you are in 2 degrees own coverage.

99 with 512mb ? thats the same as vodafone and telecom! and the coverage is only in Auckland,wellington and Christchurch!

Mobile Broadband Zones will be here, but I will expect it to mean "zones where mobile broadband speeds (as in HSDPA) will be available".

i got no problem with different data plans in different regions if the price is very low.

But...

$99 for USB Modem +  512MB data i dont see a reason why this cant be offered nationwide.
