.. Ok, so I understand why they would lock the account. I work in IT, we do it at work and it sometimes even catches me out.

But on a website, why do I have to ring an 0800 number to reset it. Where is the 'forgot password' button to reset it.

And what about a timer on the attemps. I tried at work this morning, and for whatever reason the work connections really doesn't like 2degrees and I was being faster than the page was loading/timing out. So I try ONCE at home 12 hours later on a connection that actually loads the page and enter the wrong password and bam, locked out.

What is the issue with calling the 0800 number?

Well, at the moment .. I am in my PJ's inside all nice and warm. My cellphone is in the car which is outside. I don't want to go outside and get cold.

Well if you want to log in tonight you will have to go get your phone as when the account is unlocked the password reset sends a one off password to your MSISDN

Its cold outside tonight!

Do you have a Landline?

Not trying to be a Jerk but you are complaining that you are forgetful and too lazy to sort this out... What is this world coming to? I might start up a blog complaining that the government didn't feed me today.

I don't use their site since I gifted my 2degrees phone and sim to my brother but I too would be surprised to NOT have a 'forgot password' option on a self service option. I am sure as a company 2degrees would rather have low value calls like password resets sorted by the customer.

PJ's? Do grown men still wear them? Time for a poll methinks.

You mean, the one that says "Forgotten your password?" at the bottom of the login page?

Forgotten Password

iPad Air + iPhone SE + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.
