I'm in Wellington, these are on my laptop.

I got a steady ~2.5Mbps downloading the iOS 4.1 update this morning.

I did some speedtests last night while using bluetooth between my phone and laptop, was getting just over a mbit but i'm pretty sure the bluetooth was the bottleneck?

Bluetooth is a bottleneck.

The speeds above on 2d are hardly impressive, especially the ping times. They certainly aren't representative of my testing which is significantly better.
