Specifically...How many have you received and how many letters have you sent out to account holders?

Also: did Snap's traffic drop off dramatically as some of the other ISP's have reported?

Wouldn't have a clue to be honest. I think the biggest hurdle has been getting the rights holders to do things correctly, I think most of the notices they're sending still aren't in the right format or going to the right place.

Not really much to answer your question, not sure I really have anything more helpful though.

Yeah, I ignored him as a troll.

Interested in the OP's topic and the non-trolling replies though.

the problem seems to be the people who are sending the notices are not familiar with the law, from reading other forums the notices most isp are receiving are not correct under the new law eg missing info and not sending the fee with the notice and the ISP's are not bending over backwards to help them get it right , so it might take a while to see how determined people are

They are probably just receiving the same old bulk email notices as always.  I'm sure some notices complying with the NZ Copyright Act can't be far away then we will see people getting notices.

If they don't start soon people will start to question if the law is needed at all.
