I heard from someone picking up a sim card that the price of a prepay sim card has gone up to $10.
Can anyone confirm/deny? I know that a pay monthly sim is $10 but they are talking about prepaid here.

Yes they have gone up but this was always going to be as the $5 was an introductory price.

I thought $2 was the introductory price.

Got one 2 days ago at $5 from the 2 Degrees shop in Wellington; they're still listed as $5 on the website, too.

In countdown by me they have the $5 and $10 SIM cards. Don't think they are getting rid of the $5 SIM.

They were free at the start, then $2, then $5. $10 are pre-loaded with credit I believe.

Yes definitely seems to be $10 now. The price advantage is slowly being whittled away.
