Krishant007: If anyone feels like they want to donate their TechEd bag this year, please feel free to PM me :D. You will get a very hearty and grateful Thank You and 1 (possibly 2) Cookie(s) of your choice from Mrs Higgins or Cookietime. I unfortunately wont be attending this year

I may have one spare but I dislike cookies.

Behodar: Is the Schedule Builder working for anyone else? I got an email saying that it's now available, but I can only see the keynote and similar sessions in there. Is it working for anyone else?

Yep, working for plenty.  What you need to do is follow the "All Sessions" link, then click the "+ Add to schedule" button to add each session to your list.

Please do use the schedule builder - its the only tool we have to gauge demand for sessions prior to the event.  We use this info to ensure, or at least try to ensure, we get the right sessions in the right sized rooms :-)

in case you're interested, these are the most popular sessions so far:

Most Popular:
An Introduction to ASP.NET vNext
Hack-Ed: A day in the life of an Advanced Persistent Threatener
Hack-Ed: Threat Modeling your software to design for security
How to grow: What I learned from going from a team of 0 to a team of 100 and back again
Making your code just a little bit funcy
Microsoft Azure in the Enterprise
Nanotechnology – Superpowers for our future gadgets

Thanks. I'm sure that that wasn't there before >.>

I do wonder how many other people have had problems; one of my coworkers also exclaimed something like "there's nothing in here!" shortly after the email came out so I know that it's not just me!

I believe there were some problems with the link after the first email, sorted an hour or two later.  There will be another email going out next Wednesday so hopefully everyone will be back in and trying again from then.

If like me you can't make it to TechEd itself this year, there is another event on Sat 13th - a free code camp at AUT also supported by Microsoft.  25 tickets left at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/code-camp-auckland-2014-tickets-12485876593

I am going.  Has anyone been to Code Camp Auckland before?  Good lunch? What else is there?

Can anyone get to the Schedule Builder on their phone? I log in, tap the "menu" button, tap My TechEd... and then can't scroll down to My Scheduled Sessions because the menu has a fixed position. Is that affecting anyone else?

4S with 7.1.2.

Edit: I got there by copying the URL (https://newzealand.msteched.com/myteched/my-scheduled-sessions/) across from the desktop site. I then tapped on "Subscribe to your calendar feed" only to have three sessions (DEV302/303/305) dumped on Tuesday morning instead of Wednesday, with some (but not all) of the other sessions in the wrong places too.

Edit Edit: I've looked at the .ics file in a text editor and the times look correct in there; are the wrong days an iOS bug? However, that doesn't explain the keynote being in Crowne Ballroom 1 tongue-out

Yet another edit: The incorrect days issue only seems to affect the initial confirmation; the dates are correct once you actually confirm and add the entries to the calendar. I'll log a bug with Apple.

maybe we should have a competition to see how many times we hear the words cloud, disrupt, byod and big data with extra points for all of them in one sentence?

Right. I got the confirmation I will be attending the TechEd as a Microsoft guest (same as in previous years) with other media presence.

In the meantime, I have just finished working on something with Intergen for their stand - you folks probably remember in previous years there were racing cars and the stand was quite popular.

This year, working with Microsoft Xbox and Activision there will be Guitar Hero competition - prizes include daily JB Hi-Fi voucher and a Xbox One with Kinect at the end of the competition. More information here: Intergen Guitar Hero Geek competition at TechEd.

Anyone seen anything regarding the bag yet?
