My website has now experienced 900 minutes of downtime (since last night).
The host's website is also down, they're owned by and their site is down also.

Anyone else's sites effected.  Any ideas when this will be resolved.
I'll give them a call around midday if nothing happens.

Over 15 hours downtime in one go is just not acceptable in this day and age. Have you had any emails or contact from them with an explanation? I can't access their site from work but I'm guessing there won't be an SLA in place? Hopefully there will be an offer of compensation (an account credit of sorts).

Yeah that's too much downtime, change provider to someone more reliable imo.

Did they not have a status page explaining the outage when it was occuring? PM me if you are interested in a new hosting provider.

Yeah I'm quite unhappy about this.  No offer of an account credit.  Even worse no explanation sent.  I emailed myself and got this short response...

We had rather large issue last night with one of our primary servers, all hands on deck, and we resolved the issue earlier this morning,
Very sorry for the outage. We are currently investigating the issue and cause.
Quite frankly (it came back up around 10.30am) I think they just got back in the morning and fixed it.
If not for my own monitoring I wouldn't have even known there was a down time.  I run a political blog and one of my colleagues wanted to publish something but couldn't because of the outage, and if there was a breaking political story during the down time I would've been pretty annoyed.
I've been with these guys for 8 months and this is the first major downtime, however the length of it and the lack of communication about it I find unacceptable.  They recently had a change in ownership.  Anyway I think I will be looking at switching to another host.
Any suggestions?  I currently pay $10.29 for 2gb's and unlimited bandwidth.
