Hello
I have a client that has the same email in every folder in his yahoo email account.
If I click on the email in the inbox to delete it, it greys out all of the yahoo mail options
I created a new folder and copied the other emails in the inbox to the new folder but the spam email ended up in there also.
If I change the yahoo view to basic I can't see the spam emails but they return when I change back to full features

I opened up the email on another clean machine and the spam is still in there so its nothing to do with there being any viruses on the computer

Btw, you could try deletion with a javascript disabled browser. Chrome has an option for that.

I am on an RDO today, I will check my contacts tomorrow. I have access to the yahoo management tool, so I can run a rebuild on the mailbox ( no you won't lose anything) and see if that or my contacts can help. PM the email address in question. Also, run a virus and malware scan.

Good point. I can only try to help with YahooXtra

Its a yahoo.com.au account

Thanks anyway looks like I will have to do the support ticket.
I expect Yahoo.com.au they will have a management tool they can run on the account also.

I'll try the Java suggestion

Thanks

Tried that but didn't work
In researching I am wondering if it actually has something to do with the yahoo ad manager.
I found the settings to opt-out of ads but didn't work
They are showing as sponsored ads and when I clicked on one it actually came to the Yahoo ad page.
Each Ad is different with a $ sign in them.

Some things in Yahoo take overnight to change, that may be one of them
