I bought an expired domain name in April and put my own site on it. I didn't do any more because I was focusing on other things at the time.

The new site shows in Google searches ok, but the old business details are still showing up in the top 'area' of the Google search results. The old phone number, location, directions and that sort of thing, even thought the website link goes to my site.

I can't find anything other than how to remove specific pages from Google so do I just have to wait for them to catch up or is there something I can do to clear the old and have my own details show up ?

I've just bought another one this week which has reminded me I should do something !

Domain owners can force re-crawl and downgrade it etc using webtools

Thanks, I'll give that another crack. It might not help that I'm actually using the .nz version and the version is just redirected for now. That may have something to do with it.

I have a case where my business locations are list with Google Business. The AKL office moved almost 18 months ago now and regardless of how many times I force an update on Google Business, they still list the old address on top right when searching for Auckland.

The Wellington office moved six months ago, and Google updated it almost instantly.

Regardless of how many times I try reaching someone at Google this is not updated. And it's a Google Business "feature".
