Hi

Have a snap email account and using outlook 2013

Outlook has gone offline. Click on it but nothing happens.

The email account is actually locked as well out but is being reset.

Would a wrong email password cause outlook to go offline and not come back on.

If I understand correctly what you are asking, then yes. Outlook 2013 won't connect to your Snap email account if it doesn't have the correct password. Do you have webmail access to the account? Try logging in via webmail just to confirm it's not an issue at the Snap end.

No the account is actually locked out and we are getting snap to reset it.

Hopefully then once the account is working at snap's end, outlook will come back on line without having to do any office repairs.

Depending on how the server is set up, yes it could. One incorrect attempt is unlikely to, however multiple repeated attempts can do.
