uktuatara: I'd just check that you're happy with their criteria for allowing unattended access, and the controls they have for allowing people into the data centre. Not to sound anal, but I don't want EVERYONE getting access into the datacentre where I host my kit.

At the minimum (and they probably do already) they need to have a record of who is going in and out. Plus that security check is a good idea.



I did give a brief version of the requirements (I'm not sure that Orcon would really want the full details published) - however they do tend to do a pretty good check of people requesting access - if you have a full cabinet then only you have access to the cabinet.  There's also security to get in and out and cameras all over the place.


There's definitely a record of people coming and going in place.
