I just received a notice from discount domains this afternoon, a very well written email explaining about an outage (that thankfully didn't really affect me) that had occurred, what went down and the steps they were taking to prevent it again.

It's encouraging to see them doing this, as there is sometimes a culture (in IT and/or NZ) to try to bluff an explanation and move on.

So - Kudos again to Discountdomains.
