I'm new to php 5 databases, I'm trying to turn off "Magic Quotes"
Can anyone help provide the script that I need to use to do this, and where do I run the script ? In the index.php file ?
Thanks folks

It is a setting in the php.ini file - are you running a server or using shared hosting?

Magic Quotes is a PHP feature, so it cannot be turned off in MySQL.

This page has the details on disabling in the server config or disabling at runtime:

http://php.net/manual/en/security.magicquotes.disabling.php

If it's shared hosting, you can disable it using a .htaccess file.  Google for more info.
