Hi Folks

Has anyone done this recently with Joomla 1.6 and can help me along the way with advice/help etc?

Yes I have done this many a time! The big problem usually is that the design of a static website doesn't always fit nicely into a template so you sometimes need to make minor changes for the module/component concept to work. Feel free to PM me for advice or ask on here.

It would probably be easier for you to find a similar template or design your own.. I recommend using artisteer if your inexperienced with template coding/slicing or whatever, its basically word for templates..

As per the components, if your site has custom ones its usually easier to either pay someone to port them or outsource it to a freelancer highly skilled in joomla.. Ive done several joomla sites/apps with freelancers and rarely ever get any problems.

PM me if you need anything else bro
