PlagueHO: Is anyone still waiting for their phone? I hope not! If not then I say close it! :)

meeee!!!

But I'm just waiting for the courier now, I'm confident it will be here soon! (I'm out in the wop-wops so I'm guessing it will take a few days).

So I'm the final survivor of this thread? :p Do I win a prize?

Yep, you win an S3 32GB! :)

I'm gonna miss this thread once it's closed, tbh it has helped me a great deal during my wait (my longest electronic pre-order wait haha).

It's great that people have stuck it out, the 32GB has been well worth the wait.

Did I mention how great a phone it is? I bet I have :-p

I'm gonna test out Navigon and Sygic as GPS, they both look good.

Im fairly certain by tomorrow, everyone should have their 32GB handsets - well for all the pre-orderers for the time being.

It arrived! woot!

No props to Posthaste couriers for leaving it in the letterbox... (it had a "obtain signature" sticker on it, and I specifically asked when I ordered that it NOT be left in the letterbox...). And the outer box was very squashed up (actual S3 box had tiny dings on it from the outer box being mashed up...)

BUT IT'S HERE OMG!

I survived the wait for the 32 gb S3 and all I got was this lousy teeshi... wait, no I GOT AN S3 :D

That's okay, I've even had the courier sign for the package themselves and then leave it right by the front door!

Congrats on the delivery though :)

I'm glad that everyone is happy now. :)

Did anyone know why my Samsung App account is no longer having my pre-downloaded applications but I can see it on my S2. :(

I had a lot of apps and now those I restored from my backup cannot be run because of certificate invalidation due to being running it on S3 instead of S2.

Now my downloaded list is empty and cannot get those games any more.

Yep thx, it sure has been worth the wait.

Loving this phone atm.

Already have used up most of the space.  So definitely made the right choice in waiting for the 32GB model, I would have died if I were using a 16GB.

I only got 8GB left in my phone :(
Man imagine the headache with the 16GB if I get that one lol. I would end up jumping off the building from the frustrations.

Hey guys, just registered here. Ive been thinking of getting the s3 for a long time now.

Can you guys recommend where to get it from? places like vodafone, telecom and other retailers are very expensive.

einfo.co.nz has the 32gb for $940, i understand its parallel imported. What do you all recommend, is it alright to get a parallel imported phone? i understand that the warranty is with the online store not samsung itself.

I wanted to pick up the 32gb LTE when i go to korea soon, but i talked to someone who worked in samsung in korea, he told me that if its broken it will be hard to fix in nz. So im just buying the normal international version now.

Thanks in advance

I have personally dealt with ExpertInfoTech and my personal opinion of them is they're great to deal with, others may disagree.

Going by pricespy http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=1278552, I would go either Expert Infotech or PBTech.  I'm pretty sure most other electronic retail stores don't readily stock 32GB.  I would not go Parallel Imports (the shop), well only if it were your only choice left.

I've previously owned a SGS2 from ExpertInfoTech and it worked fine, no issues.  So I think parallel imported phones are great.  Just try getting it off a physical store, that way warranty is easier.

I bought from PBtech, it arrived today and with it being my 1st smartphone have figured it out pretty fast.
Yet to obtain a micro sim for it, maybe tomorrow.
It has a SFR country code (France) and documentation in frog but seems ok, and is 2 hundy cheaper than the main local carriers.
