Hi All,

I'm having an annoying problem, whenever I search for anything on the Google Play website on a computer, I can not go past first page of results. If I click on an arrow or a page number at the bottom of the first page I get "We couldn't find anything for your search".

Tried on Mozilla and Chrome, with any combination of search words. I did a quick search but couldn't find anything relevant in an avalanche of results to "google play website search not working" :D

Any suggestions?

Cheers Smile

It's working just fine for me. I searched for something that's guaranteed to have a lot of results (podcast) and I had no problems going to the 2nd or 8th pages of results.

I definitely remember having that problem a few times.
Don't know what caused it though.

It hasn't happened to me as of late.

Maybe try clearing your browser cache.
I run CCleaner every so often, so that may have been what fixed it for me.

Thanks guys!

I can replicate the behaviour on two computers and on my GS3.

Can you try and search for "tripit"? When I do it says I have 90 results and can see 4 pages at the bottom, but clicking on any page/arrow gives me the "We couldn't find anything for your search".

https://play.google.com/store/search?q=tripit&c=apps

Something to do with region-restricted apps?

Yip. Same result here.

Pages 2, 3, 4 all have the same result:

We couldn't find anything for your search - tripit.
Suggestions:

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.

I get the same issue for that search term. It's almost certainly a bug, where the database query that figures out which items to display gets a different set of results than the query that figures out how many pages there are.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've had similar problems with Google itself, where searches show that there are more pages of results than it can actually show.

That makes sense.
