keewee01: Cos' it was in the Warehouse mailer in my mailbox last night! ;-)

They have all 3 flavors (2degrees, voda, and telecom) for that one price for a limited time.

If you goto the warehouse stationary they have a 5% price beating promise on mobiles. Not sure if it applies though since both are owned by the warehouse.

I think that policy got changed after the last price conflict between the 2 of them.

keewee01:

The question you asked was "Should they"... this suggested you did not already know the answer - hence why I replied how I did.
If you wanted a different question answered, you should have asked that question. Laughing

But good on them for doing so with the refund of the difference.

Fair point, although they hadn't yet fulfilled their side of the contract in that hadn't even sent the phone and I could have just cancelled and reordered it at the lower price. Not that I would for $7

Had I received the phone I wouldn't expect any refund or even asked them but I liken it to me going into the shop in person and paying $734 to the guy at the till and the price dropping to $727 before he handed the phone to me. I'd say something.
I appreciate that this is a very loose comparison. Laughing But this is the internet, do you expect anything less?

Yes, good on them. if it happens that is. I will keep an eye on it.

Just to wrap this thread up,  I ended up getting the 32GB pebble blue phone off Einfo for $753 including delivery & credit card surcharge. And as promised they did refund me the $7 after the quick price drop.

Ordered on a Wednesday, they dispatched on the Friday [Not sure why they took 2 days] and I got it first thing Monday morning. It is imported from Romania according to the documentation but doesn't have any  localised bloatware like my HTC Desire did. Just the usual Samsung stuff
Have had it for a week now and am loving it. Have compared it to my mate's Iphone 5 and I much prefer mine, bigger screen and more customisversatile, especially considering it cost half the price. Money Mouth
