zpempire: I brought my one at about 315 Symonds St. Next to subway, St Pierr Sushi.it is 919

Iphone owner for previous years. After three days frustration, I finally start enjoying it. The size of the 7100 is just perfect, not too small as iphone and not big as tablet. So the size is really a matter, at least for me. Apart from the progress of adjusting from iphone to Android, The only thing I am concerned about except is the screen.

As suggested by many websites, movie/natural mode would be the best option. But using the phone on a sunny day outside, the reflection makes the screen not good in terms of viewing, which was not happened on iphone before.

And the finger print on the screen is more visible when watching movie, so have to clean the screen before watching movies.

Do anyone have suggestion improving this screen issue?

ah good! iphone ex ... i have a question about the touch screen sensitivity/fluidity

i have a feeling my galaxy s2 is inferior to my wife's iphone 4 in terms of touch screen fluidity ... what do you think about the note 2 in this regard?

Wording this carefully so the Galaxy Note II remains the focus. ;-)

Is it possible other Samsung Galaxy devices also using an 11-pin connector could use this docking station?

Galaxy Note™ II Smart Dock

The dock may be expensive to some, however if one considers some people don't already have a Logitech Bluetooth K810 keyboard  and mouse, but have the likes of Logitech K800 keyboard and Performance MX mouse, a dock with a USB Unifying connection has it's own cost savings.

As anyone who does this regularly knows, HDMI/MHL and USB OTG mouse and keyboard, makes a very relaxing mobile docked experience. A cheap Logitech M325 mouse supports context menu and back key thus allowing most touch features. Pinch to zoom and etc excluded.

Oh and someone with a Galaxy Note may be able to tell me, does the Logitech K400 keyboard/mouse support 'pinch to zoom'?

I think it will probably work with the S3 also.

Getting one from Samsung in next few days hopefully, will try with my S3 also.

Naturally video review to follow...

If you are not looking for parallel import, then probably have to wait around Christmas.

That looks impressive. If it does indeed work with the S3 I'd be keen as.

Top Man.

Three USB ports is almost mega much to much and is that a native HDMI port I see.

I wonder if the Galaxy Note could scan for a USB attached printer on the dock using something like PrintShare.

Now add MiraCast to the mix and you in a whole new world of connectivity.

Nice to see someone who appreciates that *their* choice isn't necessarily everyone elses too (seriously tired of people just fixating on their own use, and somehow coming to view anyone elses usage scenarios as invalid)
Couldn't agree more, see this all the time in the message post sections on tech news sites.

I've been stuggling with 1GB RAM on ICS, have had both S3 and One X, & always had issues like browser crashing, launcher reloading, and background apps getting closed, all due to lack of RAM. I'm a heavy multitasker and have been waiting for a device with 2GB RAM. I really want the 2GB S3 i9305 but not keen on paying the current asking price of one, which is around $500 more than a standard S3 i9300. I see the Note 2 has the RAM size, plus the brighter AMOLED with full RGB matrix, stylus, & large screen, all at an attractive price, but is the device really pocketable? I'm not sure whether to go for this device or wait for a price drop in i9305 pricing. Can this be put in front jeans pocket without walking around looking like you're happy to see everyone?

Pocketable should be no problem but I canimagine going to airport and having to take out a laptop from my pocket along with ten other things might look a bit silly ... Not to mention the horror on colleagues faces when I answer my phone haha

I have the original Note which is slightly wider than the Note II. Note II is slimmer, thinner and much bigger battery.

On top of that, I have Case Mate Tough since I can be clumsy. Guess what, it fits nicely in my jeans (front pocket) or work trousers. No trouble at all. For the first 1-2 weeks, the phone felt a bit big. Now, I would never ever go back to something smaller than 5' on android.
