BigMal:

Apparenty it has been moved to 9AM PST. Which is 6AM in NZ. Oh well.

Really?  Do you have a link?  I can go to bed :-)

Several pages on XDA, but I would wait till 9PM tonight to make sure. Maybe it is a ploy by google so their servers don't get crushed.

Edit: Mixed reports of 12AMPST/3AMEST and 9AMPST/12PMEST.

Might be different depending on where you live / your VPN is?

So yeah nah, its not yet available and it doesn't say "will be available November 13th" anymore as it did. Pretty annoying. I don't see how moving the release time/date by 9 hours is going to change any supply issues.

When someone manages to order this from Google Play (US), I'm keen to know how it's packaged....what's the size of the package received, and is it packaged well enough to survive the trip to NZ.

Wonder when fresh stock will appear in Aussie and US once sold out?

Yikes, this release has become a fail of nightmare proportions. My buyer in the US cannot get one for love or money.

Right, still nothing available on US Play Store Devices section as of 2330 NZDT.
Tending to think it is actually going to be 9AM PST (6AM NZ time).

From previously buying my Nexus Galaxy direct from Google Play, it comes brown boxed, with sealed Air pillows and then the Google boxed phone inside.  Quite safe.

It shipped and arrived in 2-3 days (I was in Sacramento).
All in all a good experience.

Given how quickly the Nexus 4 H/set sold out in the EU and Aus, they will go quickly and it sounds like the Play Stores web infrastructure has come in for some serious pounding as well, people have noted the site struggled at times.

UK release was a shambles, went live at approx 8:10am and for the next 40 minutes devices would appear in stock or out of stock randomly and either empty from the cart upon trying to order or generate errors at various stages during ordering.

Have seen reports from those who did manage to get to various stages in ordering of said orders throwing errors which subsequently process (and people double or tripling up accidentally), the vast majority however do not seem to have been successful (myself unfortunately included).

I have one in my cart but keep getting errors at checkout.

edit: now they've emptied my cart and it's saying "coming soon".

I managed to buy 2 x 8gb Nexus 4s.  I don't want 2 so I'll sell one at cost when it arrives.

Hopefully they arrive.  I went through the entire checkout process but I haven't received a confo email and my google wallet account doesn't show the transaction by my internet banking shows my cc was debited.

edit: Now showing in my google wallet.

OOPS there seems to be a problem.  Now cart empty and phones appear to be out of stock!!!!

AAAAaaaahhhhhh

I phoned the lovely lady at Google who told me " I do apologise but we are out of stock and there is no order associated to your email"

Do you have any idea when there will be more available?   "no idea at all sorry"Yell

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Did it 10 times? Looks like my CC has been charged for two separate $2 transactions. I hope they get stock soon!
