Hi There!

I am looking to see if there is a better tablet than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 or GT 7.7 both of which I already own.

I like the 8.9 Form Factor but the GT 7.7 Screen is way better. I would also like something faster and perhaps a higher def screen. If it had IR that would be awesome. Expansion slot would be nice but not essential.

I like the look of the Nexus 10, but it's also quite bulky. I also can't find it anywhere?

Anyone able to make a recommendation?

Hi Networkn,

I have a 32Gb Nexus 10 and it's pretty sweet - anything specifically you'd like to know, just holler!

You can only order them directly from Google US/UK/Australia - there's no local distribution, and based on how much the Nexus 4 is selling for here, you'd be mad to buy locally anyway.

Heh, I can't even give you one; it's location-restricted, so unless you're connected to a VPN, they won't appear.  It's quite the palaver to get one, I can tell you!

I noticed walmart are selling them. You will need to use a drop shipping service to get it delivered to NZ.

brad: thanks.

I am concerned about going back to a 10" tablet (weight), though I like the high res screen. Ideally I want an 8.9" with a fantastic screen, high res, quad core, WiFi, lightweight and running a current OS or unlocked bootloader.

Doesn't meet the high resolution nor weight/size requirements.
