I was getting tight for internal app storage on my LG 3D Max phone.

It has 1GB for apps...and I have everything that can go to the sdcard installed there as well. Many of the largest apps (Just about anything to do with Google, Facebook...etc) take up loads of space each. Facebook can have over 70MB all by itself. Same again for Google+.

I went through and uninstalled a few apps. Each time it released a few MB. Progress. Then, I uninstalled a theme for a Lancher I no longer have installed (Launcher Pro)....and the 5MB theme freed up 75MB of internal space.

Hmm.....

Trying to work out how uninstalling a 5MB app gets me back 75MB of space....

Data + Cache

Did you have any themes installed for Launcher Pro?

Yes. I think this may have been one....

It said it was 5MB. I had long since uninstalled Launcher Pro. ADW Launcher EX is better (IMHO).

If one related "app" can see storage held for the (since uninstalled) also related app....then it would make sense to do a factory reset from time to time just to keep things tidy. I haven't done one since I bought the phone in June.
