It sounds like VF AU customers are getting the 4.3 update, since it is the same as the TNZ and VFNZ software, people here should be getting it any time now.

Excellent, time to put restore my 4.2 backup and get the OTA. I'll make a flashable file of 4.3 then for anyone that may need it.

Mines done. 45 Minutes over Wifi and then a reboot. Poking around in it now. Won't get a good idea of battery life and usability changes until tomorrow but I'm looking forward to seeing what's there!

Battery life is considerably better on 4.3 which is fairly consistent for all devices going from 4.2.2 > 4.3.

I'm pretty sure HTC were targeting Jan for the KitKat carrier edtions release.

It has to be. I just disabled that damn HTC Sense that I never used and probably used spare CPU...

Still no sign of 4.4 GPe, there must have been some bugs...

I wonder if GPe will get the Nexus 5 Launcher, since the new launcher is actually not part of the Android open source program (or whatever it's called), and is closed source. The Moto X didn't get a new launcher with update I don't believe.

There sure were some bugs apparently - Google has to pull the nexus 4 OTA update at the last minute, for example, and apparently there is still a bug that breaks email integration with MS Exchange.

I haven't checked the issue register myself, that's just what I read...

Glad to see my update isnt slower than anybody elses! Another 45 minutes looking at the snails pace on the progress bar. Still its a lovely sunny Saturday while I wait...
Anybody with a Telecom sourced handset and SIM able to confirm that this also enables 4G?
