So do you feel its better than the camera in your old One X ?

Interested in your opinion even though the camera (or more so the megapixel count) isn't really an issue for me. I always felt if I really needed the quality of a 13MP picture, I wouldn't be using a phone lol
With my phone I only have it set at 2.4 megapixels for sharing photos with friends and family.

Here is a shot taken with the one and the one x - neither looks great and the one x needs the lens cleaned (wifes phone) but the colours are much more acceptable with the one. Both these were without flash and it was really quite dark.

In general, all the shots I have taken with the one are better thant the one x. Again, the OIS makes a big difference.

missed Easter sale :(

I doubt it as it's not a day for celebration so it would be suicide for any company to have an "ANZAC Day Sale".

Your best bet will be to wait for Queen's Birthday in early June.

When I saw that some guys had managed to preorder theirs at $800 from Noel Leeming I went in and asked and they gave me 20% off because I said I'd pay then and there. Then I went home and cancelled my Hantec order.

That was on the 9th (not sure when Easter sale was??), so maybe 10+ days onto that ruins it... but it's worth a try!

I am very tempted to buy one of these but I doubt I'd keep it, given the S4 is superior in lots of ways.

Greaver i would have preferred a black one but rare as hens teeth at the moment.

The more I am using it, the more I'm liking it. I was in a low signal area on the weekend and it was chewing the battery, i am going to be interested t see how that pans out this week. That's the final question mark.

A mention for the speakers - there has never been anything like it. clear, bassy and loud as you need. great for watching vids.

Thanks for the advise, I went there and said the same thing, they gave me 10% off at $899, better than nothing ay....

Just got an awesome deal for my HTC One. bought one from Ebay , AT&T version , using Youshop(Google it if you dont know what it is) .

The guy that sold it to me will put the Unlock code in the package so i can sim unlock it , although i could have done that myself as well.

Added up to 760$ incl shipping in total!!!

Chatted online to a sales specialist on Vodafone's website. Here's the info on buying the phone outright:

"It is $1149, however, we don't offer the HTC One for outright purchase at this stage because supply is very limited for it. Later on down the track, however, I'm pretty sure we'll do so for it."

We know that Telecom's pricing is $999. and with their pending 4G services starting in October, my NL Easter Sale price of $799 on XT is looking better and better!
