Krishant007: wait hang on...i think before i had ordered the phone, i had checked the telecom page and it had said that the phone is 4G.

Is that why the Vodafone version is $150 more expensive coz it's 4g and telecom version isn't....
That's a rip off then, but if u order from overseas then 4G frequency doesn't match the one in NZ right??????

The European version from Clove supports LTE on the 1800mhz band, so it should work on Voda 4G (and Telecom once their 4G network is live).

Be careful, I'm pretty sure the version that clove are selling doesn't do 850mhz 3G band so won't work on Telecom XT network in the rural areas where they don't have 2100mhz band coverage.

Yes I am correct.. just checked this morning, the Clove HTC One spec doesnt include 850MHZ 3G so wont have full coverage on Telecom XT network.

It seems you can flash different radios without s-off so Clove orders will be able to flash an asian radio for NZ coverage (or whatever we end up with)

You are assuming of course that the hardware is compatible with the different bands.
If they produce different hardware then this wont work.

Good on HTC for sending out the improvements quickly. The photos do look better.

That sounds like reasonable price to me. I like the idea of buying this phone from a reputable local retailer. I have bought Galaxies from Clove and Expert Infotech in the past but this time I'm being a bit more cautious, thinking of CGA etc.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Expert Infotech is locally based and you shouldnt have issues with CGA in case of a warranty claim

Yes I thought it was a good price too. I also have access to a staff discount through my girlfriends sister and a $350 credit from Vodafone which can be used there. Cheekily hoping it will slide in under $500, but even $600 would be a great buy.

Would this be for a Telecom or Vodafone handset?
