Gilco2:
joker97: Guess which brand sells better
No guessing required. People always will be like sheep so the S4 will sell.  If HTC One had Samsung on instead, it would sell like hotcakes. Just human nature until Samsung do something really wrong with a model

I think htc has a chance now ... Thanks to samsung plastic (not reviewing quality, just puts some people off) those who want an iphone 5 feel without buying apple will surely buy htc :)

I have to say though on price samsung htc iphone - no difference now is there?

HTC HAD a chance. They've pretty well blown it with their joke delays and production issues.

No release until LATE April is too close to the S4 that it will push a number of possible buyers across to it.

Argh, I've been waiting for this phone for too long.
Now that I hear it's coming in May, this really puts me off.

Aside from its build quality, this phone doesn't have much to offer me. I've read and watched every single review it got from different sources, and the conclusion is that this phone is a tad faster than s3 with a camera on par with Iphone 5 or S3. I think all quad-core phones have similar day to day performance regardless what benchmark score it gets.
No external sd card, removable battery and LTE, but nevertheless I was going to get this phone.

I am still very much enamored of its design and build quality, but with this stupid delay, I think I'm just going to get a S3 if Noel Leeming does 20% off sale over the Easter break.

Yeah the later this release gets the more likely they are to lose people to the Google Motorola X as well.

I was going to jump on the HTC One, but late April/early May means it's heading into the Google announcement, so I won't bother now.

HTC just lost a sale and dear I say the number of people thinking the same will be in the thousands.

what is all this talk about HTC having a chance, does it really matter if one phone out sells another or is it simply a case of having a popular phone as opposed to one that you like.

Mobile phone buyers have more choices that you can point a stick out but still we go tribal arguing which one is better, suffice the one you buy and are happy with is the right one for you regardless.

I think the HTC is a great looking phone but for me the ext SD and replaceable battery is the deal breaker, everything else is much of a muchness

Have a chance of not going the way of the dodo. Financialy they are a company really struggling and the One is a big success, it might well be the last flag ship we see from them.

There are the geeks (impatient, need it now, etc etc, me included) ... Then there are the general public - really, i try to tell my brother how awesome this that the s4 the iphone 5 the you name it - he doesnt give a darn. His phone works, when it breaks he will get a whatever that looks ok. He doesnt need one the very next minute becuase his old nokia brick is in his drawer. There are other friends who buy phones because voda australia rings them up telling them their contract has 3 months left they are eligible for a free upgrade - they choose whatever comes cheapest with their $49 plan...

I think htc one hasn't lost ALL customers ... Let's see

I might have to wait to sell my One X until I'm back from holiday in two weeks, but I'll hopefully be able to snag a One next Wednesday. I've really enjoyed using the One X, but the One looks to be in a completely different league.

I ordered one last week and have now got a case coming for it as wont use it until the case is on.  On xda have seen photos where they have been accidentally dropped.  Sure made a mess of the aluminium casing but no screen damage and phone still works fine

Wonder if Vodafone is the same.

Annoying that it's apparently due next week yet no pricing is available for it.
