For those who are sick of waiting, and have an unknown 1 week approx delay comming go and order one from Clove.co.uk. it'll be here in 5 working days. job done.
Keep in mind;
its try-band (so vodafone not telecom - missing 850 MhZ)
lte will work with vodafone as they are rolling on 1800 frequency, though for 'rural only' they're looking to purchase 700 which the htc one doesn't support. not sure if this is a problem or even an issue though.

apart from those 2 facts, its working brilliantly.

Just picked up 2x XT versions from the Noel Leeming across town (Dunedin)!

Went into the one in centre of town that I had ordered from, he looked it up and saw the other store had them - checked out back for their stock but none there. So I went over to the other store and picked mine up (took them a while to find them).

Gotta go to Telecom store in a bit to get micro sims :)

Awesome news!

But since when have we had 2 NL stores here in Dunedin? There's one on the oneway north, where's the other?

how on earth can they have them when ones like me pre ordered and paid in full almost 2 months ago in March still havent had them. Then Noel leeming on the phone said sorry they are delayed again and no estimation of supply from Telecom.  Doesnt make sense that some NL stores have them. Something not right with their system

The Bond&Bond that is opposite the Meridian / Golden Centre on George St was rebranded to NL early april.

Yeah they definitely lack some coordination there. I ordered mine first week of April - but the store I ordered from hasn't seen any yet. But I head over to this other store and they have them there.. probably selling them to people walking through the door, though they don't have any display or anything yet.

In my defence I don't shop at places like that.

The Telecom store here has plenty of stock. Would be an option for those disappointed by NL and co if you can get a refund.

I've noticed after about two weeks of full charge/discharge cycles the battery has consistently gotten better.

Latest cycle was 34 hours with a shade over 4 hours screen time and included a few hours streaming TuneIn Radio over 3G.

Found a pretty great feature of this phone - probably my favourite to date; the ability to use iSky.

Few caveats, you have to use the stock android browser, and you have to download the latest flash version.  Search Google for "How to enable flash on HTC One" Follow those instructions and your set.

You have to remember to check "Desktop Version" when you get there.

If you dont have an iSky account, just go to the site and enter your Sky credentials, (you will need your code from your card in your decoder) and your laughing. Took great delight in watching the F1 qualifying while at a 21st at the weekend.

Took my phone with the 2 stuck pixels back to the Telecom store this afternoon. Served by the store manager, told her whats up and she took it out back to try see the pixels (had to check with her minion in the end). Told me my only option was for them to send it to HTC, which would take an estimated 5-10 business days, and said it would probably be replaced anyway.

She implied because I had had the phone for 48 hours (quelle horreur) that it could not be swapped on the spot. Needless to say, not too happy. Thoughts?

Oh, and I went on online chat before I went, they just advised me "if you feel the phone you were sold is defective then I suggest you take it back to the store you purchased from".
