NZtechfreak: You mean the apps on the bottom of the homescreen? If so, you can change those. Long press and remove ones you want to change then add new one as per usual.
Perhaps he means the actual "apps" icon in the dock. I can't move mine from its default position on the right hand side, I would like to move it to the middle of the dock.

Ah yes, quite possibly. That hasn't ever been possible to move on TW as far as I can recall. Personally I'd do away with TW on the S4 in any case and just install a third party launcher.

So has anyone rooted theirs yet? The methods I'm reading about on xda all seem easy enough but the responses are varied in regards to success. I presume a lot of it has to do with carrier specific tweaks but nothing seems to be a universal root just yet.

It also sounds like a lot of the US based posters have locked bootloaders but nobody can agree as to the easiest way to find that out without trying to flash a custom rom and have it fail.

Does nothing. was same with the s3 with a local ROM. On that, I installed a UK ROM, moved them, then flashed the local ROM back.

I'm the same but don't need to go custom yet. Unless my preferred developer hits the S4. I'll be happy just with root so I can install all my current apps in the S3.

The root method for the qualcomm is a different one and I'm a tad uneasy. I'll keep happily reading for now

Hmm my sdcard keeps "dismounting". I formatted it exfat last night (Quick Format in Windows) and it's still doing it today. I am wondering if it's a physical problem or it has an issue with a file or something that is on the card? The problem is the backup of 16GB of data to PC was 1 hour and back again 1+ hours at 3MB/s

Mine said it did when I turned it on, but I still only have the 50 from my s3.

Might be time for a faster card? I was having issues with my 32GB about 3 weeks ago on my s3. Got a 64GB and all is well!

Just tested, reminders work fine.

I really want google to make a better widget for their calendar, but this will do in the mean time.
