A workmate has dropped her Galaxy Note2 on its corner and shattered the front glass.

Is it possible to replace just the glass?

Everything underneath works as it should, even under the shattered pieces of glass but she has been quoted near $500 to repair it which includes a whole new screen/digitiser unit.

Was hoping to be able to help her find a cheaper option.

My understanding is that the screen/digitizer is one unit. The cheaper way to do it is to buy a genuine part from eBay and replace it yourself or find someone who could fit it for her.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
