Kopkiwi: Anyone have the links on how to mod for 256gb SD card?

Yes!

Sorry, not got around to posting them up before:

You need one of these adapters:

http://www.dx.com/p/sd-to-microsd-transflash-card-converter-module-27001

My advice would be to buy three, as lots of people have purchased faulty ones (as you can imagine the QC on these isn't going to be great).

...and then a mod like this one, or an extended battery case:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518175

For the 256gb card, buy the one from PNY - B&H Photo and others selling it for ~$120USD (same as a 128gb microSD currently). The only other one available is from Lexar and it'll set you back about $500USD.

Hi All

I'm hoping someone can help me install a custom rom onto my note 3, having a bit of difficulty. I've rooted, installed cwm recovery and downloaded bobcat v9 rom but I cant install, it will go through the aroma installer then reboot and stay in bootloop. Can anyone recommend preferably how I can get this rom installed or if that's not possible which is the best rom to install and where to download it from?

TIA

Did you confirm you rooted correctly? (use root checker from the market)

Are you using the same OS version as the Rom? (4.4.2 etc)?

Yup did that had root access. Tried every kind of wipe and format available even tried no wipe or format, flashed stock rom and used Cwm then used twrp as well stopped short of using safestrap as there was limited information. Downloaded X note last night and installed that instead

That work fine?

Anyone know where to get an official S View Case that isn't day light stealing at $60?

I have one in black if you're in the market. Bought it to check out the S View features, should have known better as am not a fan of flip cases.

How much? My OCD says I need a white case to go with my white phone.

But Black might be a nice contrast.

Shoot me a PM, it's just sitting in a drawer at the moment. Figured I'd just flick it in as a value-add when I eventually upgrade to the Note 4. If it can find a happy home now, so much the better. :)

The thing they're quite cool except they don't offer much protection and don't protect the sides. Apart from that I would've got one

The cover overlaps the phone, so does protect the sides if you drop it.

Best thing about it for me is it unlocks the phone when you open the cover. Very handy.

They're a magnet away from being a good product. Thankfully, Spigen has a solution to that, although I was less keen when I realised the side part attaches to the phone rather than the case. I use too many other cases to commit to the S View cover (Currently the UAG Outland).

As for protection, you're not wrong. Took a chunk out of the corner of my Note when it fell out of my pocket while in the S View cover. S View cover is perfectly fine, not a scratch on it. If S View covers held shut properly, my phone would be fine too.

Okay yeah maybe but not as much as other cases. The s4 one doesn't seem to offer any at all

But does it overlap the silver edges enough? even if it was held closed? Because I know the s4 one doesnt overlap at all.

That UAG case you're using looks quite nice though!

Nah. Wouldn't use an S View cover if you're concerned about protection. The Spigen Slim Armour View cases are a better choice for that. They make one for the S4, too. I have the non-View Slim Armour in delightfully on-brand red, and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Just noticed the wife's Note 3 has the VoLTE appearing as one of the notification shortcut in the drop down menu.

Is this a sign of Vodafone testing or possibly supporting VoLTE very soon?
