The build N9005XXUGNG1 has been network approved by Vodafone NZ as of Wednesday the 20th. This is a big update that brings a few Galaxy S5 features, including Kids' Mode, Download Booster, Virtual Tour in the camera, and changes the notification bar toggle icons to the ones found in the S5 (Just the icons themselves, not the colours or the background). Location mode now toggles between all location services off/all user-specified location services on (e.g. network location + GPS, just network location, or just GPS) rather than the previous system of leaving network location on & the toggle just switching on GPS.

Hopefully it won't be long before Samsung releases it to download for all NZ variants - as with all network approval notifications, it's up to the manufacturer to roll it out OTA at their own schedule, this is just an FYI. :)

Nice! I hope it's been approved by Telecom also!

Ive just had an update on my note 3 - still called telecom nz so they didnt fix that, and no idea if the wifi problem is solved as I have just been at work all day with it off because wifi on adsl is so slow. It hasnt picked up all the ones from my google account like I hoped it would when they finally fix it.

No updates showing here yet. How big was the update? ROM/Radio version?

Glad this one's come out! It's a nice update with a fair few user-facing features. It also fixes that bug where, after using the camera, transition animations turn off.

How's everyone finding Download Booster so far? Bit of a niche feature, and doesn't work for that many things, but I do find it very useful for streaming podcasts through Pocket Casts.

Thanks, but no. Haven't had the need to run anything but stock on this so far and for now I see no reason to change that.

This isn't my first rodeo. Post above indicates the Spark update may have been released already.

Looks like the 4g has gone live for 2degrees in a few areas of Wellington, unfortunately as i discovered today my Hong Kong Parallel import Note 3 still does not have 2degrees in the 4G CSC list. Anybody know the easiest way to add it in there, most seem to involve root and manually editing the files. It seems towelroot no longer works on the newer firmwares either.

Was hoping 2degrees would have been added in on my phone by now, it has had about 3 OTA updates since 4G went live for 2degrees a few months back.
I am running stock 4.4.2
Baseband: N9005ZHUENH4
Kernel: 3.4.0-2538583

Any advice apprecited, looking at the CSC files it seems like Both Telecom and Vodafone are listed under LTE but not 2degrees.
