Some of the prices are plain silly. PBTech are asking $900+ for the 16Gb model whilst WHS etc are asking $699
I dont think PB will sell many

arnies: For everyone complaining about the price;
it cost NZ $670 to import a 32 GB phone. So the $699 price isn't that bad for the 16GB

Nokia 7 Plus
Nexus 6P 32Gb
Nexus 6 Phone
Nexus 5 Phone
Nexus 7 2013 Tablet
Samsung TAB A 8"
Samsung TAB A 10"

& many Windows laptops, Desktops etc

Hit the button above the blue shutter button and it's the first option on the right.

Unfortunately no..... It's not there.

Here is a screenshot of the camera app.

mouarg: To all those who have got their nexus5, how is the battery life? Tossing between G2 and nexus 5. G2 scores more in the battery department.

From all the posts around xda, reddit etc.. stock battery life looks around 4 hours screen on, maybe less maybe more depending on lte vs wifi etc.. but custom kernels e.g. faux kernel have given some pretty great bumps, ive seen ~4hrs screen on with 49% left with custom kernel

Cheers for that! I was a bit concerned about the underpowered 2300mAh battery. So with custom rom and a bit of toggling, battery life can be extended. Hopefully more N5 users can share their experiences around battery performance.

Thanks :)

Been reading some forums and it appears that the battery life may improve with use over the first week.

I'm still waiting for mine to be shipped from the Aussie pastor play store currently saying 6th December shopping date.
Hopefully it will ship sooner so my brother can bring it back with him otherwise will need to get the aunty to ship it and have the risk of customs charges.

Been using mine for 1.5 weeks now and absolutely agree with this. Took about 4 or 5 days but ramped up noticeably from new

Got mine. I asked the sales assistant at WHS if it was a micro or mini sim.

She unboxed it and broke the seal in front of me.

Hahahah does she not know the geek rules?

Did you tell her it's now a display model and you want a fresh one?

I charged to full overnight. I am 83% after 5h55m, screen on is 30 minutes. This would be a typical use case for me when at work. So looks to be an improvement over my HTC Sensation. But really too early to say.

The G2 will have better battery life so if that is important to you, go down that road.

Thanks for sharing that. That's not bad at all. Yes G2 does have a bigger battery and probably a better camera but it doesn't come preloaded with kitkat. Also the pixel density for the display is not as sharp as the N5. I'm tending towards N5 atm. Wonder if i can get the 32GB from the oz play store, going there next month.

@FazerDude & ajobbins - That sounds promising. Battery life is fairly important to me

Thanks,

Anyone have BT file transfer working with Windows 8.1?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.
