I had the exact same problem, when I went into the Telecom store it turned out that they hadn't enabled 4G on my account for some reason. It works perfectly now.

coolcat21: mwilcox,
I just got this message on checkout:

"We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order. "

You can order from Ebay for approx. $15 USD shipped to NZ.

Link please ? And how safe and reliable is the shipping by Ebay ? Since it's not a store and a private person.

Just sign up for PayPal and use that for your payment. They will guarantee the transaction, so if you're not satisfied you can easily get a full refund. In some ways, it's even easier to shop on eBay than TradeMe. (Plus PayPal will let me use my Amex rather than being limited to Visa/MC).

I have first hand experience of something that wasn't as described - no response from seller - after the specified response period I got a full refund courtesy of PayPal.

Anyone's gmail push stopped working recently?

Mine was working fine till I factory reset my phone last night, now I don't get any gmail push messages. I even tried setting the phone up with a gmail account that's never been associated with a android phone and no emails come through

Hangouts push works fine

I find that the screens are almost impossible to read outside in daylight. I use a screen protector that ameliorates that somewhat makes it easier to read.

BigMal:
coolcat21: How tough are these GG3 I wonder. Screen protector..or no screen protector.

I ordered some ismooth screen protectors.  Many years ago my iphone screen got a scratch and whenever I used it all I could see was the scratch, it was awful.

I find the screen protectors to be very unobtrusive.

Additional to this I have two small children who's sole goal in life appears to be to get their hands on my phone, hence the need for protection.

So customs have finally entered it into their system, but they still haven't created an invoice or worked out how much I need to pay them yet

One of my G mail accounts has just randomly stopped working over the weekend as well. The other one is fine, possibly a issue at Gmail?

Apparently there were some play store and Google music problems in the last day or so ... possibly related?

How do you know they've entered it into their system? Do you get some sort of email update? Mine has been saying "held for clearance" since Wednesday last week. I'm just waiting patiently for a letter to show up.
