Anyone having problems downloading attachments in the Email app?

Since upgrading an N4 to 4.4 the user cant download attachments to emails from his Xtra account, he managed to download 1 but from then on it hangs on 0% when fetching the attachments. this is bfore it has displayed the attachment name ie he has pressed the "touch for more" icon at the bottom.

If I go into settings>apps>email I find the "attachmentdownloadservice" is running continuously, if I stop it I can then sometimes download 1 attachment before the problem recurrs.

Bug? Work around?

cheers

Finally... I have the 4.4 update on my Nexus 4. Looks like another push by Google this morning going by the responses here.

4.4 has been installed on my N4, hope it fixes the issues with cell connection and phone shutting down randomly.

*Sigh* Well that was wishful thinking. Still having issues.

Turned up on my wife's N7 but I am gun shy because if it breaks I have to fix it and currently she has no problem with her tablet.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Good plan considering both of ours failed. Both stock but unlocked. Easy fix, but a pain putting all your passwords in when it restores.

OTA update seems to have bricked my One :(

Should have just sideloaded it days ago and probably would not have had this issue

I had the same qualms about doing it to the wifes N7  but i went ahead and there were no problems.  Same on my N4..

Noticed yesterday that my westpac banking app is no longer working since the update on my N4

App keeps telling me that the login is incorrect, please try again.

Strange thing is that after 3 attempts the app told me that I have been locked out of my account. I called Westpac and was told that my account is not locked and I should try from a PC. PC worked fine.

So interesting that the app is no longer working. I have even tried deleting the app cache, and reinstalling it.
