old3eyes: My JBhiFi ordered one arrived today with it's free wallet. Interesting that it also comes with a USB plug pack as well..
Easy to setup just like the N4 but my attempts to get a Telecom as primary SIM and Skinny as the secondary SIM have not worked. One works or the other but not both. Will get my personal Telecom mini SIM converted to a micro SIM at lunch time and see if that works or as I suspect the second SIM will only work on standby in GSM (2G) mode which means it has to be a 2D or Vodafone one..
Will let you know..

Would be quite interested in the results of this.
From a youtube clip I saw it looks like you set one sim as the data sim - thats fair enough.
You would hope the dual sims can sit there and both be online for incoming calls at the same time.
Presumably you could have it ask which one you want to make a call on when you go to dial someone as well.

timmmay: The UK model has KitKat, so I doubt it's far behind for the NZ model. The differences are minor, difficult to spot and nothing much in practice.
MOBILE: Huawei P30
OTHER: Thinkpad E14 + Asus Vivobook + Intel NUC5i3 + A family of Raspberry Pi x 9 + Amazon Echo
Archer77: I picked up one from JB Hifi on the weekend for my wife (my one was from Amazon UK). She is only using one sim slot so has the second sim logo and reception bars in the top with red exclamation points or "X" or something on them. Does anyone know if there is a tool/app to hide that? The 2nd sim is already turned off in the settings.
jonovw: For those who don't care about being on the latest version of Android, 4.3 works really well on the Moto G and the stock 4.4 didn't bring many noticable upgrades.

Was that with the Dual Sim version..?
Been reading a few posts that KiKat is not out for the Dual sim model..

I think what he's saying is 4.3 is just fine on the dual sim model so it's not a huge imposition to have to wait for 4.4.
540trickzter: Anyone know if JB Hi-Fi or Harvey Norman are selling flip cases for Moto G separately? If so, how much are they?
