Are the jbhifi /harvey norman Moto G's the Global ones? In a hurry so might have to just go grab an 8gb version instead of waiting for 16gb

menabassily:
Zipdisk: I am after getting 2 Moto G  16GB ones from Amazon, but I need the flip cases so I have to wait,
but how can it be done avoiding GST, ? order one phone one week and the next in 2 weeks..?

Thanks

If you are using YouShop, they won't combine the two packages, even if they arrive at the same day but you can pay for both together. However, Customs will charge you for all the packages that arrives at the same time.

The solution is:

Order the phone for now before it sells out again! Then when the covers are back in stock order the other one.

Thanks  that is what I was thinking.

All my overseas orders in the past are bundled items that don't  get near the $400 limit..

I have setup my  YouShop acc  and found that I still have a Amazon Acc but never used..

I think it's pretty safe to guess that anything that is being sold in franchises outside the USA is Global GSM

I noticed that Harvey Norman Kapiti has a sale ? on the Moto G  at $298   ???

Talked to the 2  degrees shop in Kapiti I mentioned about the free case, they stated what free case.

Does any one know when we will be getting the 16GB  one.

Motorola does list in on the Ozzy web site.

Amusingly/annoyingly enough there's been reports that the magnets on the official MotoG flipcase interfere with the compass/gps and some are worried it might be damaging.

There was a lot of talk on XDA forums, can't find it right at this moment

I am quite surprised the 16GB version seems to have gone AWOL from the NZ lineup.
I'd be quite keen on that if it was a sensible price.

LTE doesnt concern me so much - but is 'interesting'.
HD voice capabilities would be a nicer to have though.

Anyone know if the harvey norman ones are dual SIM?  I quite like the idea of dual SIM, it means you can keep your NZ number available when travelling but get a local SIM for data and calling
