Hi all
Just wondering if this has happened to anybody else.
Found my phone flat one day and figured it just ran out of battery. Plugged it in and turned it back on and it started in safe mode.  That's odd, I thought, as I restarted the phone.  It booted up fine, but now all my apps seem to have lost their login details and customisations. My keyboard has reverted to the default keyboard instead of swype.  All my apps work fine, but I've had to sign into all of them againa and start from fresh.

Has this happened to anybody else,  and any idea what may have caused it?

This happened to me, exactly as you describe, on my SGS 2 a couple of weeks ago.  No idea why, it just happened.

it may be nothing more than you were holding the volume up button as it was booting up which puts it into safe mode. The battery m,ay have just been flat but can't understand the apps as if it had done a reset your downloaded apps wouldn't be there but you would be back at default settings, did you have to re login to google?

IOt may also be trhat you have an electrical fault hence going into safe mode, there are some bad S4 batteries out there and they have been getting hot and expanding, may pay to check yours to see if any bulges.
