I have a problem with my Samsung devices (Galaxy S3 Phone and Galaxy Notebook) when I return home from work my Galaxy s3 phone does not re-connect to my wifi it says connected but its not, I have to reboot my router and in most cases my phone to get it connected.

If I reboot my router my Samsung Galaxy Notebook then drops out and does not re-connect in most cases I have to reboot the router 2-3 times before all my devices are happily connected. This also happens if I power off my Samsung Devices and power them back on again.

My phone automatically connects to wifi at work with no problems.

Has anyone had this issue and can anyone give me some idea why this happens, could it be my router there are 1 desktop PC, two laptops and an iPhone in the house and none of the have any issues with connecting and or re-connecting to the router.

I have read that some routers do not play nicely with non PC devices and or Samsung devices.

My router is a NetComm NB6 with 11n wireless

Thanks in advance

Log into the router and make sure the wireless channel is not set to auto, change it to something like 1, 6, or 11.
Often these routers with Auto channel selection can/will select Channel 13, which not all devices support.
