galaxy S5, Pre-order started guys!!
http://products.noelleeming.co.nz/search?af=&w=129006%2C+129007%2C+129008%2C+129009%2C+129010%2C+129011

but $1049 !!! isn't bit too high?  at this point Note 3 seems still better choice for me at this price point. what you guys are thinking to buy?

When the Galaxy S II launched, it was $1199. $1049 for the S5 seems right in line with expectations to me. :)

true but my point more about thats really reasonable when so many devices available and most importantly Note 3 also available at the same price. Galaxy S5 has now much more serious competing devices than S2 had.

$1049 is less than the S4 was at launch from many retailers, too. Honestly, if $50 here or there compared to previous generations is a huge deal, then preordering a top-end phone is probably not for you ;) Wait a couple months post-launch and it will drop by $100 or more probably.

I would have paid $1149 for mine. Has a 2 year warranty with it.

Wonder which one I should get. I am really torn between the:

Samsung GALAXY S5 -Black With Micro SD card (32GB)

and the

Samsung GALAXY S5 - black With Micro SD Card (32GB)

Or the

Samsung GALAXY S5 - Black With Micro SD Card (32GB)

Or maybe the

Samsung GALAXY S5 - White With Micro SD Crad (32GB)

Or maybe I did really mean the aa aa aa aa?

The value propositions are quite interesting this year, moreso than last year, I feel. Existing contenders like the Note 3 & LG G2 are still very compelling, & the S5 has stiff competition from Sony with the Z2 - there's the launch of the new HTC One to come on the 25th as well. Can't go too far wrong with any of the above, really.

The S5 is a very nice handset. The water resistance is welcome, the camera looks great, the software overhaul is significant, and the heart rate monitor + fingerprint reader are good fun. I expect a lot of folk coming from the S II & S III will be well keen.

though i love galaxy front screens, i just hate their back covers. not that its plastic but how it looks. I was hoping Note3 styles covers but they came up with these!! from what i've seen in launching videos they all look terrible especially gold one. Only black ones seem to be slightly worse than others.

Given the entry price I think its very reasonable and aprt from the 3gb memory it is better than the N3. The 32gb of ram is also good for that price.

More and more I'm getting the feeling the rumors are correct and this isn't the premium international version and they may release an up spec model in May when they usually do.

The entry price is the same as the S3 was so not sure why the concern with that for what you get

A shame the same can't be said about the phone itself ;-)

Mate said he had a look at the S5 yesterday and they look really nice, squarer shape than 3 or 4.
