Shouldn't matter. Noel Leeming has a pricematch policy so they have to match other stores.

I agree, it should not really matter. But they can also refuse to match it and not sell it to you. Problem was that it was online sale only from DSE and it was for 2degree M8. Personally didn't matter whether it was Vodafone or 2degree. I bought from Wairau Park.

Seems Expansys have the Dot View case in stock, but shipping stings quite badly with cheapest shipping being $57, and that's untracked and over half a month shipping time. $65 for a couple of days

Anyone seen them around in store here for a better price?

I know they're not perfect but I am a sucker for orange things

I have just seen the latest leaked renders of the M8 Prime. They show a rear camera with a raised lens. Definitely not a fan of that. So much so that in the past I have had to look for phone covers thick enough to negate the protrusion. As for the super high resolution display, didn't Apple make a big deal out of the fact that 'retina' resolution was as good as the human eye could use?

Might have to wait for the M9 (seriously trying to resist the M8 at the moment, because there is nothing wrong with my M7).

I asked a Telecom store, and they said they can order in a Dot View case for $60.  Might be worth walking in and asking - you won't have to shoulder the shipping that way either.  You could also pre-order from Mobicity for about $63

Odd I went into the telecom building store today and they were scratching their heads to when they might have one.

I'll question them again Monday

The only other thing I did recall them mentioning was that they can only order in stock on the first of the month or something like that.  This was Westgate that I asked if that helps.

Couple of questions for those who have bought their M8 from proper channels, i.e. from Vodafone etc:

  • How long is the warranty? 1 or 2 years?
  • Does the packaging come with a protective case (not dotview)?
Considering resigning with Vodafone, their retention team has offered me a deal to stay on account as I was thinking to move to prepay.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone after the M8, DSE website has it for $790 after the 12% discount on offer. Can't really beat that price!

yes you can. Go to warehouse stationery and ask them to beat it so take another 5% off it.

They won't as they only stock the Telecom version, which basically is the same really but they are only willing to match it.
