Will the Exynos have LTE?

 

Because previously the snapdragons had LTE but the Exynos's didnt.

 

Also snapdragon is much more supported in the rooting/custom rom community

Yes. Samsung has moved to an Intel baseband solution, so both the Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha have Exynos 5433 + LTE.

You don't think they'd release a 3G-only variant of the Note 4 to the NZ market at this point, surely? ;)

Managed to score the Note 3 last year from Dick Smith at 20% off sale about 2 weeks after launch. Am hoping something similar happens this year. So gonna hold out a couple weeks.

Saw this full page Note 4 ad in the NZ Herald yesterday.

Will be available in mid Oct :)

Is there a more detailed image, or can you offer more specifics from the ad? I can't read it in your post and seeing as you said "mid" Oct and Australian release appears to be 29 Oct, you've peaked my desperate interest  :)
