And whether our Telcos will stock the Note Edge? I'm currently on the VF $20/month upgrade your phone every year dealio, so am hoping they will allow me to upgrade to the Note 4 Edge, rather than the standard Note 4, even if there might be a bit of a price difference to pay?

Usaully Notes go for $1100-$1200 I think?

If it is here by Labour weekend then Noel Leeming etc will do 20% off no doubt so should be able to get for under $1K if you wait.

Also, quite keen on this, have never owned a note though so the size thing is going to be something to get used to. Will wait though to see what is happening with the new nexus and maybe even the IPhone 6.

I am willing to bet they will retail for about the same as the previous Note, that is, 1150 or something outright. Ahh the flagships always have such high retails on em!

I would wait for Noel Leemings 20% off ;)

Will certainly be getting this, if not for the simple only, OIS on the camera. God I miss it on the Note 3 having picked up the LG G2 previously.

It is at least going to make it to Aussie:

Ive heard October is meant to be the release month, no other news on that. Or pricing for that matter, reviewers thing the Edge will be at a higher 'premium' price than the Note 4

The Note for is still selling in Noel Leeming for $1049, crazy but oh well.

that list of possible launch countries looks good for aussie, what about us Kiwis!!

Im wanting to nab the Note Edge on a a plan, my current plan with my Note 2 ends November.

Im keen as pie to get the Note Edge, but some others, am a lil weary of how it will feel in my hand, if it will be sharp or awkward.
thinking it'l be fine, they wouldnt make it if it were that horrible to use!

I see accessories for the Note 4 & Edge are already up on eBay - talk about quick!!

1 thing am disappointed with - these 2 new phones are not Water Resistant rated at all, like the S5, which is IP67.

This doesnt make a lot of sense, the Note has always had the better or same features as the previous Galaxy S model

Ok bugger!

I don't think I'll bother with note 4 for now. As I'm working with water that feature is a must. I'm just sick of using bulky cases to make it waterproof

ahh well in your case, if def makes sense to have an IP67 rated phone. Guess it would be the S5 then? Or wait till next years releases?

not sure if what other brands are doing IP rated phones. I just dont bother looking at a whole lot of other brands. Samsung has won my heart - lolz!

Sony was first to bring waterproof phones to their flagship line, their Z2 and Z1 Compact are good handsets (presumably their newly announced successors will also be good).
