Hi guys

I recently got myself a Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet and am wanting to install Flash onto it.

I know GooglePlay doesn't offer Flash as a download anymore, and that is must be manually installed.

I've followed the instructions on this page - http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installing-flash-player-android-devices.html but wasn't too sure which version to download so chose "Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.81)". It downloaded and looked like it installed

  • Tap install_flash_player.apk.
  • When prompted, tap Install.
  • When installation completes, tap Done.

I never got any Done prompt to tap. However there is an icon on my tablet called Flash Player Settings. That loads in Chrome, but returns a blank black page.

I'm not sure if I downloaded the wrong version for my tablet, but how do I uninstall Flash and reinstall it so it does work?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Stevie

Chrome for Android does not and has never supported flash (Neither do Opera or Samsung's Sbrowser, as they're both based on Chromium). You'll need a browser that does, like Firefox mobile. :)

That would explain why I got a blank screen in Chrome, when trying to load settings.

Thanks! I'll give Firefox mobile a go.
